To Live Out Your Divine Destiny
Many people desire to live a life of purpose, but they don't know what it takes to accomplish that. Here are 7 things you
absolutely must know and apply.
1. KNOW Who You Are
Understanding your identity in Christ unlocks your potential. Be sure your beliefs about yourself line up with the
standards set forth in the word of God, not those of this world.
2. KNOW Your Strengths
Your gifting is an indication of your calling. Don’t make the mistake of trying to cultivate an area you’re not anointed or
skilled in. If you can’t hold a note in a sealed jar, you aren’t called to be a singer. Remember, God won’t ask you to walk
without first giving you legs.
3. KNOW Your Weaknesses
Recognizing your areas of deficiency is just as important as knowing your strengths. Pray and ask God to reveal
weaknesses in your character and areas you need to be delivered in. This is crucial to your effectiveness as you walk out
your purpose.
4. KNOW Your Enemy
Certainly, we know that our Chief Adversary, Satan, is our enemy and he works through people to hinder us. Whether
they are naysayers, discouragers, provokers, gossipers, or accusers, recognize the work of the enemy and guard your
heart and mind.
5. KNOW your Season
Timing is everything. There are some things we’re meant to have, but we pursue them out of season to our own
detriment. Learn not to be overly anxious. Pray and be patient and when the right time comes, things will begin opening
up for you.
6. KNOW Your History
If you don’t learn to analyze your past, you’ll never be able to get past it. Until we understand our social conditioning
associated with our unique upbringing, we’re powerless to weed out any unhealthy thoughts and habits that hold us back.
7. KNOW Your Worth
The Bible says you are fearfully and wonderfully made, so be careful never to devalue yourself. If you don’t recognize
your own worth, how do you expect that anyone else ever will? Remember, you must see yourself as worthy of respect
and honor before you’ll ever receive it.
As you pursue God’s will, there’s one other thing you MUST know… know where your help comes from. It comes from
the Lord. That way, you won’t search for validation or promotion from any other source. Once you know all these
things, there’s nothing to stop you from achieving all God has predestined for you to achieve.
