When I was coming up, man did
I ever hate spring cleaning!
My dad is a military man, so
his expectations were very high
when it came to cleanliness.
We had to dust everything.
Clean out closets. Wash walls
and floors.
"Get this house spick-and-span,"
dad would say.

Just as my natural father did, my heavenly
Father also has high standards for cleanliness. He
requires that we live holy and walk upright
before Him.
We may not hear it a whole lot anymore, but God
expects that we present our bodies as a living
sacrifice, holy, and acceptable. The Bible says,
that's our reasonable service. (See Romans 12:2)
Listen. I'm always happy when you log on to read
EEW Magazine. Thank God the publication
continues to grow. But above all, my desire is to
spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I want to
remind you every chance I get that God is
seeking women who will stand up and declare His
word--not just with our lips, but with our lives.
"Let your light so shine before men, that they
may see your good works and glorify your father
which is in heaven" (Matthews 5:16)
So as you embrace this new and exciting spring
season, be sure that God is pleased with the
condition of your inner man. Be sure that you're
available to Him, and placing Him first in your
life.
