Obama Labor Day Speech

I voted for President Barack Obama in 2008.
Before I went inside my neighborhood voting
booth and did the deed, however, there was a
wooing process that took place.

I learned all about the young freshman senator
from Illinois. I read every article I could find
about Obama and I checked out all his speeches
regularly.

It was the compelling speeches that really got
me going. This brother could talk and do it well.
He repeatedly touched on all the points that
President Obama Talks A Good Game, but Do We Believe Him
Anymore?

mattered most to me. And his charismatic delivery reeled me in, hook, line, and sinker. But Obama's
leadership has not lived up to all the hype and rhetoric, which is why I am hesitant to allow myself to get
too emotionally involved with his latest speech.
