Paula White, who says she slipped into depression after her public divorce from her husband of 18
years in 2007, admits to battling her own addiction to prescription pills as a result of a midlife
meltdown. During Bishop T.D. Jakes' recent leadership conference, Paula White shared how she
suffered a stroke and got hooked on the pain meds prescribed by her doctors.

2011 has been a rough year for many high-profile Christian leaders whose struggles hit the media
spotlight. According to the Christian Post Paula White opened up on Sunday about her ex-
husband's arrest. She said:

“This ministry is a ministry of restoration. This ministry does not compromise the
principles of God, but we are the perfect church for people who are not," said White.

“This does not mean I am an enabler. That doesn’t mean I condone. That doesn’t mean I
agree with things. It means that I will help you walk through life. And I want you to walk
with me through life. And I think that’s what the church is all about.”

We must continue to pray for our Christian leaders.
