The Christian community has been very patient with Meagan Good since the actress went public with her
devotion to Christ and “sold out” status in God’s Kingdom. But that patience was really tried last evening at
the 2013 BET Awards, and EEW Magazine has the email feedback to prove it.
Our editors' inboxes lit up with outraged messages after the preacher’s wife,31, stepped out wearing a
revealing blue gown, leaving hardly anything to the imagination.
Even mainstream publications are talking about her “extremely low-cut” dress that dipped down to her belly,
which is drawing comparisons to Jennifer Lopez’s infamous 2000 green Versace gown.
Good's dress easily took the cake as being the most scandalous get-up of the evening.
While the "Think Like A Man" actress has gone on record saying people confuse her true nature with the
seductive characters she plays, the actress doesn’t help her cause when she fails to modify her real-life
wardrobe choices to fit her loudly professed devotion to faith.
No doubt Mrs. DeVon Franklin seems sweet, truly sincere, and genuine about her relationship with God,
but, sadly, she has not yet grasped the fact that modesty, for Christian women, is important.
Although we each have the right to do whatever we want, when we come over on the Lord’s side, we no
longer seek our own. Rather, we take on the role as representatives for the Father—something Good’s
dress did not do well last evening.
Plainly put, it’s quite difficult to shine the light of Christ with your “headlights” on full display.
