It’s not only because of the new baby, but for the simple fact that God has allowed me to be
triumphant over the enemy, despite his many attempts to destroy me in every way possible. I
rejoice in Isaiah 54:17 which says, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper…” The
devil has thrown many weapons at me, but I am thankful that my Father would not let any of them
prosper. I might’ve been knocked down, but God’s grace kept me from being knocked out.
Metaphorically, I feel much like Joseph when God took him from the pit to the palace. How
wonderful and merciful is our God!
From wandering aimlessly through life, to walking my destined path of purpose, God has truly
shown Himself strong in my life. He continuously proves to me that His hand has always been
upon me, even in the midst of my ugliest, darkest moments. I never imagined myself as a
confident, purpose-driven woman, eager to please the Lord in all of my ways. By surrendering my
life to Him, He has blessed me in ways I never thought possible. And when I say He’s blessed me,
I’m not speaking from a material standpoint, but rather, spiritually and emotionally.

August 24th is going to be one of the most
exciting days of my life! You’re probably
wondering why, right? Well, it’s the day that
my husband and I will welcome our third son,
Jorden, into the world! You just don’t know
how happy I will be to finally be able to
reclaim my body…oh, and to hold our little
pumpkin for the first time.
Between now and then, I am resting as much
as possible and preparing for this wonderful
transition in my life. And after Jorden
arrives, I will take a little sabbatical to adjust
to life as a busy mom of three. So you won’t
hear from me for a little while; but don’t
worry. In the words (And voice!) of Arnold
Schwarzenegger in The Terminator, “I’ll be
back.”
You know, this is such a joyous time in my
life.

Today, I just want to convey the message
that life in Christ really is beautiful. Sure it
has its share of turbulence, trials, and
tribulations, but even in those tough times
God is working for your good. No matter
how trying this have been or may currently
be in your life, know that an abundant life of
peace, prosperity, and purpose is in God’s
plan for you. He wants you to have joy, not
based on circumstances, but the kind that is
implanted in the depths of your heart. He
desires for you to possess the kind of joy that
helps you to hold on to your faith and wear a
smile in the face of adversity, because you
know that God is working in your favor.
There was a time when I had absolutely no
joy, and almost allowed the enemy to rob me
of the opportunity to fully experience God's
love and plan of purpose for my life.
I am so glad that God’s mercy kept me, because life now is so sweet. Is everything perfect? Of
course not. But things don’t have to be perfect, because I serve a perfect God who does all things
well.
I say to you, my beautiful sisters, hold fast to your faith and trust that God will perform all things
well in your life. Don’t worry about what’s not right, or not perfect in your life. Just surrender
your whole heart to Him, and watch Him work in your life. It’s the best experience ever.
While I’m away, I pray God’s best for all of you. Pray with me for a safe delivery and healthy baby.
See you in October. I love you!
